Montross Love

The historic Town of Montross has recently gone through a revitalization program turning the town into a destination for art and antiquing and the dining and lodging hub for all of the great tours, wineries, historical sites and trails throughout the Northern Neck of Virginia.

Located on Route 3 (Kings Hwy) just east of Westmoreland Berry Farm, the Birthplace of George Washington, Stratford Hall, the home of Lees of Virginia and Westmoreland State Park the area offers many options for visitors seeking the road less traveled.

The largely undiscovered area offers great fishing, kayaking and biking areas for outdoor enthusiasts.

Local “visitor tips” on where to go and what to see can be obtained through local businesses such as, The Art of Coffee, coffee house, bistro & art gallery, The Inn at Montross, fine dining and lodging,  Yesterday’s Family Restaurant and The Westmoreland County Museum & visitors center.
